since i became a user on etsy.com, i have always noticed LingGlass whenever i looked through the jewelry category. a few weeks later, etsy began to feature sellers and LingGlass was one of the first to be featured. mother to a young child, Chu Ling is based in Singapore and works her crafty magic with metal and glass. her tagline is "wearable art with a distinctive style."
the picture at left is a picture of my Ling piece that i purchased back in june. it's called "tendrils." so pretty!! prices vary by the piece. her prices are so reasonable, and are usually for the pendant only, but a chain or cord can be added to your total for a small charge. unless you're in Singapore, be prepared to wait to get your piece! but it's so worth it once you have it in your hand.
lately, her pieces have been accented with beads, or a patina finish for that "vintage" look. fused glass pendants are also available.
please take a look at the LingGlass (url: lingglass.etsy.com) shop on etsy.com if you think it might be your cup of tea. she's constantly adding new items, so check back often!!
just a little over 2 years ago, i discovered SpringDream, from a fellow bride on the boards at Wedding Channel. i was looking for earrings for my big day that would complement the necklace i already knew i was going to wear - the necklace was given to me by grandmother on my mother's side. a friend of mine suggested that i contact Stephanie at SpringDream because more likely than not, she would be able to help. i am so glad that i did, because she was able to make for me some lovely earrings that complemented my grandmother's necklace. i loved her work so much i had hairpins made, as well as earring and necklace sets for my bridesmaids. knowing that many brides are conscious about their budget, Stephanie has an awesome collection of bridal jewelry, but she will also work with any bride to help her
achieve the look she wants at very reasonable prices. just because her prices are affordable, does not mean she compromises on quality. on the contrary, she works hard to make sure that each client is completely satisfied with their purchase. while most of her client base are brides looking for wedding jewelry, she also makes and sells non-bridal jewelry.
please check out her website at www.springdream.com!
